IND vs PAK Asia Cup 2023 Match Likely To Be Played On 2nd and 10th September

The arch rivals India and Pakistan will lock horns against each other for the Asia Cup 2023 which is set to be played later this year. This will be the first encounter of both the teams since 2022 T20 World Cup which was held at Australia.

Amid the controversy for venue both teams are agreed for the hybrid model where India will play their matches in Sri Lanka.

“The first group match between the two teams is likely to be played on September 2nd, while the second match, in the next round, is expected to be played on September 10th. Both matches are likely to be held in either Colombo or Kandy, Sri Lanka” reported cricket Pakistan.

As per Cricket Pakistan, Pakistan is expected to play their first group match against Nepal on August 30th or 31st in Multan. The opening ceremony of the tournament will also be held in Multan on the same day.

Lahore and Multan will host the matches in Pakistan. The first four matches of the tournament will be played in Pakistan and then nine matches will be played in Sri Lanka followed by the final.

The official schedule for Asia Cup 2023 is likely to be announced on Wednesday.

Star Sports has acquired the television broadcasting rights for the upcoming ACC Men’s Emerging Asia Cup 2023, set to be played in Sri Lanka from July 13-23.

The ACC Men’s Emerging Teams Asia Cup 2023 will be the fifth edition of the tournament. The competition will feature ‘A’ teams of the five full members of the Asian Cricket Council: India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan as well as the top 3 teams from the 2023 ACC Men’s Premier Cup: Nepal, UAE, and Oman.
