IND vs NZ: Team India announced for Test series, former veteran said – team is very balanced

India vs New Zealand: New Zealand’s team will visit India soon after the 2021 T20 World Cup. The Kiwi team will play a three-match T20 series and a two-match Test series on this tour. The T20 series will start from November 17, while the first Test will be played from November 25. Today the Cricket Board of India (BCCI) also announced Team India for the Test series. Rohit Sharma, Rishabh Pant and Jasprit Bumrah have been rested in the Test series against New Zealand. Ajinkya Rahane will lead the Indian team in the first Test.

The BCCI’s All India Senior Selection Committee, while announcing the squad for the two Test matches, did not give the reason for these players’ exclusion. However, it was feared that he was rested due to the continuous cricket playing for the last few months. Meanwhile, former Indian veteran Saba Karim, while reacting to the Test team, called it a very balanced team.

Kohli will not be part of the team in the first Test

Indian captain Virat Kohli will also be missing from the first Test, but he will return for the second Test to be held in Mumbai between December 3-7. Ajinkya Rahane will take over the captaincy of India in the Kanpur Test, while Cheteshwar Pujara has been made the vice-captain.
