Kohli will not be part of the team in the first Test

Indian captain Virat Kohli will also be missing from the first Test, but he will return for the second Test to be held in Mumbai between December 3-7. Ajinkya Rahane will take over the captaincy of India in the Kanpur Test, while Cheteshwar Pujara has been made the vice-captain.
