There are also some concerns regarding the fitness of Ravindra Jadeja. The team management can bring Ravichandran Ashwin in his place. There is also pressure on the team to include Ashwin in the playing XI.

Chris Woakes and Mark Wood have returned to the England team, leaving them with the option of resting a bowler. In the Oval Test, both Woakes and Wood can be fed while Sam Curran can be rested, who is currently out of form.
