Will implement ‘Udaipur Manifesto’ if Congress President is elected

Bhopal. Congress leader and Rajya Sabha MP Mallikarjun Kharge said on Wednesday that after becoming the national president of the Congress, his main responsibility is to implement the announcements made during the party meeting held in Udaipur, Rajasthan. Hitting out at the BJP, Kharge said that in the last few years all institutions have been destroyed and the democratic process of the country has been put at risk. He further said- I am contesting for the post of Congress President because it was decided that no party from the Gandhi family is ready to contest for the post of President. Senior party leaders Pramod Tiwari and Gaurav Ballabh were also present together. During this, Khadke made it clear that Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi would be prominent leaders in the Congress. Kharge said, Congress has won six states under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, but BJP’s horse-trading policy and undemocratic policy has given us power in many states, including the latest example in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.
