HS Prannoy reaches quarterfinals of Indonesia Masters


Indonesia Masters 2021: Indian shuttlers PV Sindhu, Kidambi Srikanth and HS Prannoy advanced to the quarterfinals of the Indonesia Masters on Thursday after winning their respective matches. The biggest win of the day went to Prannoy. He entered the quarterfinals by defeating Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Viktor Axelsen. Sindhu’s next match will be with 20th ranked player Neslihan Yigit of Turkey.

Srikanth-Pranoy will face-to-face in the quarterfinals

Kidambi Srikanth brought another good news for India in the Indonesia Masters. Former world number one male player Srikanth defeated sixth seed Jonathan Christie of Indonesia 13-21, 21-18, 21-15 in a match that lasted one hour and two minutes. Srikanth will now face compatriot Prannoy in the quarterfinals.
