Hoshiarpur: Farmers’ organizations demonstrated, burnt the effigy of the Chief Minister

Hoshiarpur. On the call of the United Kisan Morcha, various farmer organizations demonstrated here today and burnt the effigy of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Members of organizations like Kisan Mazdoor Union Gaddiwala, Pagdi Sambhal Lehar demonstrated in front of Tehsil Complex and Mukerian Sugar Mill.

The protesters were led by union president Jujhar Singh and Lehar leader Satnam Singh Bagaria. Raising slogans against the Punjab government, the protesters alleged that the government was not fulfilling their demands. He warned that the agitation would be intensified if the demands were not met.
