Pro Kabaddi league Season 8, Haryana Steelers vs Telugu Titans: The 77th match of Pro Kabaddi League season 8 played at Sheraton Grand Whitefield in Bengaluru on Tuesday ended in a 39-39 draw between Haryana Steelers and Telugu Titans. Haryana Steelers started brilliantly and took the lead in the first half but Titans bounced back and tied the match by dismissing Vikas Khandola in the last raid. With this tie, Haryana Steelers has moved to the third position in the points table. However, Telugu Titans is still at the last position. In this match Vikas Khandola for Steelers and Ankit Beniwal for Telugu Titans completed their Super 10.

Steelers got off to a stellar start

Haryana Steelers won the toss and Rohit Kumar did the first raid of the match. Both the teams got off to a slow start. Rohit Gulia got the first raid point of the match. After this the Steelers showed a great game and took an 11-6 lead. Surender Singh made a comeback from the Telugu side with a super tackle but Vikas Khandola strengthened the Steelers’ lead by doing a super raid. Telugu Titans showed all-round play in the last 5 minutes of the first half and returned to make the score 19-20. Steelers’ defense looked a bit weak in this half. However, he took the lead by scoring 12 points in the raid.

Titans make a comeback in the last moments

At the beginning of the second half, both the teams started fast but the Titans could not equalize the score. When Titans was trailing by 4 points, Rohit Kumar made the score 23-24 by doing Super Raid. After this, Ankit Beniwal dismissed Surender Nada and Ravi Kumar to make the score 26-26. Sandeep Kandola completed his high-5 with a tackle and dismissed the Steelers for the second time. The last 10 minutes of play were left and Vinay again leveled the score by dismissing Sandeep Kandola and Surender Singh. Vikas took two points to take the Steelers ahead 35-32. Steelers’ defense dismissed the Titans by dismissing Raju Galla and made the score 38-32. After this the Titans made a comeback and the score ended in a draw at 39-39.
