New Delhi | Delhi Excise Policy Scam: In a major setback to the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), the Enforcement Directorate (ED) has arrested its communication in-charge Vijay Nair. The verdict on Vijay Nair’s bail was to come today. With this, the ED has arrested Hyderabad-based businessman Abhishek Boinpally. The ED has taken this action in connection with the Delhi Liquor scam case. Let us tell you that AAP leader Vijay Nair is the former CEO of the event management company Only Much Louder.
Delhi Excise Policy Scam: Significantly, a court at Rouse Avenue in Delhi is going to pronounce the verdict on Vijay Nair’s bail today. The CBI had arrested Vijay Nair on September 27 during its investigation in the liquor scam case. Nair is the first accused to be arrested in this case. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had also started investigation in this case on the basis of the CBI FIR. After which he has been arrested.

Accused of taking bribe from the owner of liquor firm
CBI has alleged that bribe was taken from the owner of a liquor firm through Vijay Nair. The names of 14 people, including Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, are included in the CBI FIR in the liquor scam case.

AAP’s allegation- step taken by panicking over Gujarat elections
Delhi Excise Policy Scam: Expressing displeasure over the arrest of their Gujarat election strategist, AAP leaders had termed it as a conspiracy and alleged that, being a strategist for the Gujarat Assembly elections, this step has been taken in fear of them.
