Uproar over Minister Chandna’s statement

Jaipur. Former minister and BJP MLA Vasudev Devnani accused Sports Minister Ashok Chandna of making insensitive remarks in the matter of crimes against women. Devnani shared on Twitter a video of Chandna talking to reporters in Jaipur on Tuesday. In this, Chandna is seen reacting to the news of girls being sold for Rs 10,000 in her home district.

The minister had said in the video, in which world do you live, in today’s time even a shoe is not available for Rs 10,000. What nonsense are you talking about. Recently, a media report claimed that women are auctioned in Bhilwara.

Responding to Chandna’s statement, Devnani said that by giving irresponsible statement of Rajasthan Sports Minister Ashok Chandna, comparing the crimes committed on daughters with shoes, saying that even shoes are not available in 10 thousand, from where will humans get, their It is a sign of inhuman thinking. He tweeted, “Criminals are the talk of the town, serious crimes are being committed against daughters everyday, daughters are being trafficked on the border and instead of taking action, this government is making insensitive statements.” Taking a dig at Chandna, he said, because of such governance, the people of Rajasthan are ready to give shoes like Pushkar soon in the entire state.

Chandna did not pick up the phone when contacted for her reaction. It is noteworthy that during a program in Pushkar, Ajmer in September, shoes were thrown at Chandna and other Congress leaders present on the dais who did not reach the dais. (Language)
