Gehlot’s advice to party opponents

Jaipur. Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Monday took a jibe at the youth leaders who left the Congress, saying those who got the post without ragdai (hard work) are fuming and leaving the party. Describing such people as opportunists, Gehlot also said that any leader would think a thousand times before leaving the Congress after Rahul Gandhi’s visit to India. Along with this, Gehlot questioned the intention of the Election Commission to hold the assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh on different dates.

On the question of displeasure of the youth leaders with the Congress, Gehlot told reporters here, “The youth is not angry. Those who have left are opportunists. To get a chance at a young age to become a Union Minister, who is making a fuss in the country. Fitoor is doing only those who got the first chance.

Gehlot said, should have got the chance after the ragging, instead of that he got the opportunity already, so he is fuming and leaving the party. Be it (Jyotiraditya) Scindia, Jitin Prasad, RPN Singh, he got a chance at a young age. They got a chance at a young age, tell them, you, Union Minister of State, I became the Deputy Minister with Indira ji, they were directly made Minister of State, were given good portfolios, leave the party even after that. What could be greater opportunism than this?

While exhorting the youth to be patient, Gehlot said, so we respect the young generation who are there. Young people should be patient, sometime good days will come, their days will also be good, no one can stop these people, these people will get opportunities, the more they hurry, the more they will stumble. He said that the youth should work hard in the party and when the opportunity comes, leadership gives them a chance, just like we got a chance. Along with this, he said that after Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra, I understand that now if someone leaves the party, he will leave after thinking a thousand times.

Gehlot exuded confidence of Mallikarjun Kharge’s victory in the Congress president’s election and said there was no substitute for experience. “Kharge saab will win with a very overwhelming majority,” he said. He has been in politics for 50 years, so if a person of such a personality gets a chance, he will breathe life into the Congress, his experience will work and experience only works, see. Youth power can do their hard work, there is no substitute for experience. Experience is experience.

Questioning the Election Commission keeping the schedule of Assembly elections for Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat separately, Gehlot said, “The Election Commission of India has announced the schedule of assembly elections only for Himachal Pradesh, which is putting a blow to its credibility. I would like the commission to take the entire countrymen into confidence and tell why you have declared the election program only in Himachal. Votes will be counted together but you are getting the voting done separately, what facility do you want to give to BJP. Tell This.’

Gehlot once again described electoral bonds as the biggest scam since independence. He said that the Supreme Court should conduct regular hearing in this matter on priority.
