Posted by an Instagram account named ‘Yes, We Exist’, it said, “No entry to LGBTQ+ guests at Virat Kohli’s restaurant…Virat Kohli runs a restaurant named One8 Commune in Pune, Delhi and Kolkata. Their Zomato listing states that “There is no restaurant entry for Stag”.

The post further read, “We messaged them 2 weeks ago. They did not get any response. We contacted the Pune branch of the restaurant, they informed over the phone that only cisgender, heterosexual couples or groups of cisgender women are allowed to enter the restaurant. No entry of gay couples or groups of gay men.”

The post read, “Trans women are allowed entry, depending on their clothing. The Delhi branch of the restaurant did not respond to this. The Kolkata branch of the restaurant said that everyone has an entry. However, their Zomato page says something else.”

It further read, “Discrimination against LGBTQ is common in such fancy restaurants, bars and clubs in India and Virat Kohli is doing the same.” Since this post, Virat Kohli has come under the target of Instagram users.He has to face strong reaction from the users.
