Hisar. A total of five people including four members of the same family died in a road accident in Hisar district of Haryana. The police gave this information on Monday. He said that the incident took place on the Jind-Bhiwani road near Bas village of Narnaund subdivision on Sunday night.
Four people in the car died on the spot in a head-on collision between a truck and a car coming from the opposite direction, police said. He said that two motorcycles also collided in the collision of both the vehicles and during this one person was killed.
Police said the car was badly damaged in the accident, while the truck overturned on the road. He told that Govinda, a resident of Bhiwani, was returning home with four members of his family during the incident. While Govinda was seriously injured, four other family members (Dolly, Rajni, Radheshyam, and Sahil) died, police said. Manjeet, a resident of Dhamtan Sahib in Jind district, also died in the accident, who was riding a motorcycle, he said. Police said Surendra Sharma, a resident of Bas village, and his wife were on another motorcycle. He too has suffered serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hansi.
