Fire broke out after petrol tanker overturned in Khargone, one dead, 22 scorched

Khargone. A tanker filled with petrol and diesel overturned and caught fire with explosion in Khargone district of Madhya Pradesh. While one person has died in this accident, 22 people have been burnt. The injured have been taken to the district hospital. According to the information received from the police, a tanker overturned uncontrollably near Mogar village under Bistan police station area of ​​Khargone and Anjangaon on Garhi road. The tanker had both diesel and petrol.

On receiving information about the overturning of the tanker, the people of the village reached the spot, when the tanker exploded and caught fire and a large number of people were scorched. Khargone District Officer Kumar Purushottam has told reporters that one person has died while 22 people have been injured in this accident. The injured are being brought to the hospital and those in critical condition will be sent to Indore for treatment. Collector Kumar Purushottam told that the tanker which had overturned had diesel and petrol in different parts, he has had talks with BPCL officials and has also been called. (IANS)
