Festive atmosphere on foundation day in Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh celebrated its 67th Foundation Day with pomp. The entire state was filled with festive atmosphere, the presentation of colorful programs at the Red Parade Ground of the capital mesmerized everyone. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan started the function by lighting the lamp at Lal Parade Ground. He said that we are starting the tradition of paying respect to Madhya Pradesh anthem on the lines of national anthem. Referring to the ongoing development work in the state and the change in the situation, the Chief Minister mentioned the roads built in the state, the increase in power generation and irrigation potential. Along with this, in the matter of cleanliness, he also talked about Indore being number one in the country for six consecutive times and Bhopal becoming the clean capital of the country.

At the same time, he said that this state was once known for dacoits, not only this, the state minister was even cut his throat by the Naxalites, now the situation has changed. The band of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsan Noorani and Loy Mendosa tied the knot in this grand event. Not only this, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan with Shankar Mahadevan did not lag behind in the song. On the occasion of Foundation Day, colorful programs were organized across the state. The BJP organized the program from the capital to the booth level. BJP State President Vishnu Dutt Sharma said, “Today BJP workers are lighting the name of ‘one diya development’ in all the districts, mandals and booths. Let us all together take a pledge that we will make Madhya Pradesh the most developed state of the country by taking it forward on the golden path. (IANS)
