Fate of 412 candidates imprisoned in EVM in Himachal Pradesh 65.50 percent voting till 5 pm

Shimla | Himachal Chunav 2022: Assembly elections 2022 in Himachal Pradesh have concluded on Saturday. Polling in the state ended at 5 pm and the fate of 412 candidates was sealed in EVMs. Now the fate of all the candidates will be decided on the day of counting of votes on December 8.

Himachal Chunav 2022: In view of the voting held in Himachal Pradesh today, the attitude of the people was less. 65.50 per cent voting took place in the state till 5 pm. However, despite the cold weather, the number of women at the polling stations remained high. After the commencement of voting at 8 am, only five per cent voting was recorded in the first hour, which rose to 18 per cent by 11 am.

Most voted here
The highest turnout was recorded in Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh. 72.35% voting was recorded here. This was followed by 68.48 percent in Solan and 67.67 percent in Una. 65.66 per cent polling was recorded in the capital Shamila.

51 out of 52 voters cast their votes in Tashigang
Himachal Chunav 2022: People were also seen excited to cast their vote in Tashigang, considered the world’s highest polling station. Here out of the total 52 voters, 51 voters cast their votes. It is situated at an altitude of 15 thousand 256 feet above sea level. Not only this, in Himachal, a 112-year-old woman exercised her franchise at booth number 122 in Ladhan, village panchayat, Kohal.
