Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy: A historic record of T20 cricket was made in the match played between Manipur-Vidarbha in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In the match played late on Monday night, spinner Akshay Carnevar did not allow the opposition team to take a single run in his four overs. In this group stage match, Bihar’s batsmen had no answer for medium pacer Venkatesh’s short deliveries. In his spell of 4 overs, Iyer took out the dot from 22 balls.
