Accused of murder of a girl arrested in Jabalpur resort

Jabalpur. Police have arrested the accused of murder of a girl in a resort of Jabalpur in Madhya Pradesh from Ajmer in Rajasthan. The accused has been identified as Hemant Bhadrane (29), a resident of Nashik, Maharashtra. Dozens of crimes have been registered against the accused in Nashik district, including cases of theft. The accused had killed Shilpa Jharia, a 21-year-old girl resident of Kundam Police Station area of ​​Jabalupar division in Mekhla Resort, twelve days ago with a sharp weapon in the resort. The accused had made sensational videos related to the incident and made them viral on social media when the police was searching for him.

In the initial interrogation, the accused has spoken of murder due to love affair and alleged character suspicion. However, the police is still interrogating him in detail. Police have seized more than one lakh 52 thousand cash, mobile phone of the dead girl, her jewelry, ATM card and other items from the possession of the accused. A team of Jabalpur police has brought the accused from Ajmer in Rajasthan under custody and legal action has been initiated against him after registering his formal arrest. According to police sources, the Tilwara police station of Jabalpur had received information on November 08 that the dead body of a young woman, who had been staying at the Mekhla resort for the last two-three days, was found in the room. The young man is missing from the hotel. Both of them stayed at the resort on November 06 by showing documents in fake names.

After the information of the murder, senior officers also reached the spot. While the accused was being traced, he challenged the police in a way by releasing some videos related to the murder on social media. These videos became increasingly viral on social media. Sources said the accused was being stalked in a “cyber way”. He was also continuously withdrawing money from the ATM of the girl. On this basis, he was caught by the police when he withdrew money from an ATM in Ajmer. Jabalpur police immediately informed Ajmer police about the accused and he was taken into custody. After the murder, he traveled about four thousand kilometers and kept running from one place to another.
