Dehradun. Earthquake tremors were felt in many parts of Garhwal region of Uttarakhand on Sunday morning, causing panic and people came out of their homes.
According to information received from the National Center for Seismology, the magnitude of the earthquake has been estimated at 4.5 on the Richter scale and its epicenter was in Tehri district. The earthquake occurred at 8.33 am.
According to the information, the tremors of the earthquake were felt in Dehradun, Tehri and Uttarkashi districts besides many other places, due to which panicked people came out of their homes.
Officials said there was no information about any loss of life or property due to the quake. (Language)
