Preparation for action on Hemant Soren

Preparations for major action of central agencies have started against Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. The Chief Minister has been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and called for questioning on November 3. He will be questioned in the case of illegal mining. Many people have already been arrested in this case. The ED arrested Hemant Soren’s MLA representative Pankaj Mishra after a long interrogation. Prior to that the state’s mining secretary and senior IAS officer Pooja Singhal was arrested. Later, Prem Prakash Srivastava, considered close to the government, was arrested by the ED and a few days ago in another case, Amit Agarwal, a businessman close to the government, was also arrested after questioning.

Informed sources in the ED say that in the illegal mining case, information has been received about illegal earnings of more than one thousand crore rupees. The ED has also written a letter to the state police and CRPF demanding additional security at the agency’s Ranchi office before issuing summons to the CM. Earlier, Governor Ramesh Bais said in a program in Raipur recently that a single atom bomb can fall in Jharkhand? Keep in mind that a report of the Election Commission is pending with him regarding the assembly membership of the Chief Minister. The Governor said that he has sent the file to the Election Commission for its reconsideration. After his atom bomb statement, now that the ED has issued summons to the Chief Minister, it seems that his decision will come soon. That is, the further action of the central agency and the decision of the governor can come together.
