Conduct energy conservation campaign in all districts

Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that it is necessary to conduct awareness campaign to spread the idea of ​​saving electricity to the people in the state. Campaign activities should be started in the districts. Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the schemes run in Damoh district by video conference this morning. He said that energy conservation is the need of the day. The state government has done the work of giving a subsidy of Rs 24 thousand crore to the public for adequate electricity facility. If electricity worth 100 rupees is available to the citizen, then the government spends about one thousand rupees. Collectors at the district level and commissioners at the divisional level should get the complaints related to electricity supply redressed. Even at the time of sowing of Rabi crops, the farmers should be supplied with the necessary electricity without any hindrance. Strict action should be taken in cases of illegal connections.

All maintenance work and recovery of electricity bills should be done for better power supply. Mistakes should be rectified. The cooperation of the villagers should also be taken in ensuring the arrangements. Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput and MLAs PL Tantuvay and Dharmendra Singh Lodhi also joined the video conference. It was informed that as per the intention of Chief Minister Chouhan, suspension action has been taken against the officials and employees found guilty of negligent and corrupt practices. Commissioner Sagar Mukesh Shukla said that action has been taken to remove Chief Executive Officer, Tikamgarh Sudesh Malviya for irregularities. Collector Damoh S. Krishna Chaitanya said that after taking action on complaints related to irregularities, the services of 8 rural employment assistants have been terminated and 5 panchayat secretaries have been suspended. The Chief Minister directed to suspend the CEO Malviya guilty of irregularities. The Chief Minister said that the best performers would be rewarded. The officers-employees posted in the districts should work with team spirit. Good work is appreciated. Strict action will also be taken against the violators. It is necessary to attack the persons who are involved in illegal activities. Shri Chouhan received information about the works of Jal Jeevan Mission in the district. He directed that the condition of roads should also be maintained at the time of implementation of the scheme. Where roads have not been repaired due to pipeline laying, those works should be completed on priority.

Water tax recovery, maintenance of tap-water schemes should be done on time. Availability of drinking water to the general public is our priority. Completed single water schemes and other schemes should be launched ceremonially. It was informed that Village Water and Sanitation Committee is functioning in 45 villages. The work of the mission is reviewed by holding weekly meetings. Water supply is smooth in 160 villages in the district. The remaining work is targeted to be completed by March 2023. The Chief Minister said that strict action should be taken on complaints related to the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme. If a complaint of corruption is received from anywhere, then after investigation, steps should be taken against the guilty. It was informed that a total target of 1 lakh 5 thousand housing houses in the district is targeted. 1000 to 1800 housing houses are being built every month. A target of 20 thousand houses has been met in Awas Plus. Out of these, 19 thousand 362 cases have been approved. Chouhan said that statewide Chief Minister Jan-Seva Abhiyan is being conducted from September 17 to October 31, the birthday of Prime Minister Modi, to provide the general public with the full benefits of other welfare programs including flagship schemes of the Central and State Governments. After examining each application received, attention should be paid to getting the benefit of the scheme to the eligible beneficiary. The responsibility of running the camps and providing the benefits of the schemes to the citizens should be done seriously. It was told that out of 81 thousand 482 applications received, 54 thousand 868 have been resolved. Most of the applications are being received for making Ayushman card.

The proceedings of the second phase of the campaign will start from October 26. Chouhan said that illegal drug trade should be demolished. Strict action should be taken against those who indulge in drug addiction in children. It was informed that public awareness campaign against drug addiction is also being run. Crime control works including Operation Muskaan are being taken seriously. Chouhan said that the work of transporting the cows found on the roads to the gaushalas should be done continuously. For the care of cow-ances, it is necessary to send them to Gaushalas operated with the help of social organizations. The Collector informed that 21 out of 37 gaushalas have been started and attention is being paid to the conservation of cows.
