CM Shinde received threat over phone Security tightened

Mumbai The security of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has been beefed up after a specific information about a threat to his life was received through an unknown phone call on Sunday. The responsibility of the Home Ministry is also with Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, he has ordered an investigation with the detection of the unknown caller. Security has been beefed up at CM Shinde’s official residence ‘Varsha’, Malabar Hill and his private residence in Thane City and additional forces have been deployed. Shinde has Z-class security. Earlier CM Shinde, who led the Shiv Sena rebel group that toppled the Maha Vikas Aghadi government in June.

Even when he was a minister in the previous government, he was targeted through similar threats from Maoists and anti-national elements. Though officials have remained silent, there is speculation that the threats received so far could be linked to the Centre’s decision to ban PFI. Shinde is currently traveling continuously for the Navratri festival. He will also address a Dussehra rally at Bandra Kurla Complex Ground on Vijayadashmi. BJP leaders like Praveen Darekar and Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar suspect that some may be upset by the tough decisions of the CM in recent days and demanded a full investigation behind this threat. is of.
