Ranchi. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren donated blood on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day at a blood donation camp organized in Jharkhand Mantralaya today. He urged the people to donate blood in a big way. Your blood can give a new life to someone. The Chief Minister said that people should be made aware to promote blood donation. People should come forward to donate blood voluntarily, we all should try this.
The Chief Minister met the army and police officers and jawans and other officials/personnel who donated blood in the camp and appreciated them for donating blood. The Chief Minister also presented an Advance Life Support Ambulance provided by Union Bank Social Foundation to Military Hospital, Namkum on the occasion. Many senior officials including Health Minister Shri Banna Gupta were present on the occasion.
