CBI screws on former Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey, court sent on 4-day remand

New Delhi | Phone Tapping Case: Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Sanjay Pandey is now in big trouble in the National Stock Exchange phone tapping case. A Delhi court has sent him on 4-day CBI remand. Pandey was arrested by CBI and ED in the phone tapping case.

Phone Tapping Case: The ED has also considered this case as the basis of the CBI FIR. Before the ED, the CBI had registered a case against Sanjay Pandey and his company Isec Securities. The Delhi Court today said that the CBI has sufficient cause to investigate against Sanjay Pandey. In such a situation, sending them on remand will not be wrong.

Employees’ phones being tapped since 1997
Phone Tapping Case: Let us tell you that the ED had informed the court a few months back that the phones of employees of the National Stock Exchange were being tapped since 1997. A case was registered against former NSE CEO Chitra Ramakrishna and former Mumbai Police commissioner Sanjay Pandey.
