New Delhi | Satyendra Jain ED AAP : The case of Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain, who was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on charges of money laundering by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), had made a lot of headlines in the past. Now AAP convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has taken a dig at BJP on the pretext of ED. CM Kejriwal asked the BJP that their leaders were constantly making allegations that now will they explain why a corrupt person was given a clean chit. Stepping up its attack on Kejriwal over the episode, the BJP also referred to several money laundering cases allegedly related to Jain and alleged that he was the owner of several shell companies.

Smriti Irani said why are you supporting the traitor

Satyendra Jain ED AAP : On the other hand, Union Minister Smriti Irani, while addressing a press conference held at the party headquarters, referred to the statement made by Kejriwal on Tuesday, in which he had said that corruption is like traitor to the country. And asked why then the convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is defending a traitor, who has allegedly cheated the exchequer and the public. Lashing out at the allegations against Jain, Irani also asked Kejriwal several questions and asked him whether these allegations were true or not.

Kejriwal had told the case to be false and fake…

Satyendra Jain ED AAP : Let us tell you that Kejriwal had dismissed the ED’s allegations against Jain in the money laundering case and called him a liar and politically motivated. Irani said Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal gave a clean chit to a corrupt person yesterday. In his press address, he declared that the allegations against Satyendra Jain are far from all facts. Arvind Kejriwal acquitted Satyendra Jain in the public court. Taking the names of four shell companies allegedly owned by the accused and his family members, the Union minister asked Kejriwal whether Jain had committed money laundering of Rs 16.39 crore with the help of hawala traders.
