Bihar youth murdered in Ghaziabad

Ghaziabad. The body of a man has been recovered from his house in Ghaziabad district of Uttar Pradesh. He has been murdered by slitting his throat.

Superintendent of Police (Rural) Iraj Raja said that the deceased has been identified as Ayaz (35) who is a native of Sitamarhi in Bihar, but in Khushhal Colony under Tronica City Police Station. He lived with his wife Sajra and three children since 2005.

He said, on Friday night, Ayaz was sleeping alone in the outer room, while his wife and three children were sleeping in the inner room. At around 3 pm on the intervening of Friday and Saturday, his neighbors heard Ayaz’s scream and immediately informed his brother Niyaz who lives near his house.

Niyaz told the police that he reached the spot around 3.30 pm and knocked on the door for at least 25 minutes, but no one opened the door. He claimed that after sometime he saw a man running away from the roof of Ayaz’s house and when he entered the house he saw his brother lying on a bed covered in blood.

Ayaz’s wife Sajra claims that she did not hear her husband’s scream. Police have sent the body for post-mortem and have detained three suspects. (Language)
