Bihar Chief Secretary narrowly escaped from fraudsters

Patna Fraudsters allegedly tried to withdraw Rs 90,000 from the bank account of Bihar Chief Secretary Amir Subhani. The police gave this information on Tuesday. He said that the Bihar Economic Offenses Unit (EOU) has registered a case and started investigation.

Nayyar Hasnain Khan, Additional Director General of EOU, said that the accused involved in the case will be arrested soon. Official sources said the incident took place on Sunday.

An EOU official said, as soon as the Chief Secretary suspected that fraudsters were trying to withdraw Rs 90,000 from his bank account, he informed the EOU. Since the EOU officials immediately swung into action, the fraud could not take place. (Language)
