According to BCCI sources, “Any company can buy the bidding document by depositing Rs 75 crore. Earlier the board was thinking of keeping the base price for the new franchise at Rs 1700 crore, but later it was decided to keep it at Rs 2000 crore.” “

BCCI hopes to raise Rs 5000 crore from auction

According to sources, “BCCI has been hoping to raise Rs 5000 crore from the bidding process for these two new franchises. Next year, 74 matches will be played in the tournament and it is going to be beneficial for all.” According to the information, only those companies will be able to bid for these new franchises whose annual turnover is more than Rs 3000 crore.

Talking about the venues for these new franchises, Ahmedabad, Lucknow and Pune are at the forefront of this race. The Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad and the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow can become the choice of these new franchises due to their capacity to accommodate the audience.
