RBI releases list of holidays
The list of holidays is issued by the Reserve Bank. RBI gives a calendar of list of holidays every month, by looking at which you make a plan for your banking work. Please note that these holidays vary from state to state.

Check Bank Holidays List in November 2021

  • November 1 – Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru and Imphal due to Kannada Rajyotsava and Kut.
  • November 3 – Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru on the occasion of Naraka Chaturdashi.
  • November 4- Due to Diwali Amavasya/Kali Puja, banks in all cities except Bangalore will not operate.
  • November 5 – Banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Gangtok, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Mumbai and Nagpur on account of Diwali/Vikram Samvat/New Year/Govardhan Puja.
  • November 6 – Banks will remain closed in Gangtok, Imphal, Kanpur, Lucknow and Shimla due to Bhai Dooj/Chitragupta Jayanti/Lakshmi Puja/Deepawali/Ningol Chakoba.
  • November 10 – Banks will remain closed in Patna and Ranchi on the occasion of Chhath Puja/Surya Shashthi/Dala Chhath.
  • November 11- Banks will remain closed in Patna on the occasion of Chhath Puja.
  • November 12- Banks will remain closed in Shillong on the occasion of Vangla Mahotsav.
  • November 19 – Banks of Aizawl, Belapur, Bhopal, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Raipur, Ranchi, Shimla and Srinagar on account of Guru Nanak Jayanti/Karthik Purnima I will not work.
  • November 22 – Banks will remain closed in Bengaluru on account of Kanakadas Jayanti.
  • November 23- Banks will remain closed in Shillong on the occasion of Seng Kutsanem.

Know which Saturday will not work
Banks do not operate on the second and fourth Saturdays of every month. Let us tell you that in the month of November, November 13 is the second Saturday, due to which there will be no business in the bank and due to the fourth Saturday on November 27, there will be no business in the bank.

Banks will remain closed on Sunday
Apart from this, Sunday is a bank holiday. In the month of November, banks will remain closed in all cities of the country due to Sundays on November 7, 14, 21 and 28. Accordingly, banks will remain closed for 17 days in the month of November.
