Fraud through crypto cloud mining app

Pune. A case of fraud of Rs 45 lakh from 31 people has come to light in Solapur, Maharashtra. These people had invested through crypto cloud mining app. The police gave this information citing complaints. Cloud mining is a system that uses a rented cloud computing server to mine cryptocurrencies like bitcoin without installing hardware or related software. Allows redemption. Investors were asked to download the CCH Cloud Miner App and the crypto transaction app, a police official said on Tuesday.

They were lured to convert their Indian currency into dollars through crypto transaction app and invest in CCH Cloud Miner App. According to the official, so far 31 people have approached the police and complained of fraud. He said that some investors had received payments initially. Police Inspector Uday Singh Patil said, “We have registered a case against three people who had asked people to download this app and invest money by luring them to get better profits. These three people were associated with the business of jewelery in Solapur. One of the complainants, Ram Jadhav, claimed that he had invested Rs 4.28 lakh. According to Jadhav, the app is no longer working and the office of the trio is also closed. (Language)
