50 thousand prize arrested in encounter

Ghaziabad. Enamiya crook, who was trying to escape by snatching the pistol of Thana Loni Border Police, has been arrested during a police encounter. On October 30 night, the arrested accused Yatendra alias Anil Penda was taken out by the police for the recovery of items related to the case. As soon as the police moved ahead for the purpose of recovery after getting down from the vehicle ahead of Banthala Canal Road Behta underpass, the accused suddenly snatched the government service pistol of the SHO and tried to run away by pointing a pistol at the police. After which the police warned the accused and asked him to surrender, when the accused opened fire on the police party with the intention of killing him.

Due to which sub-inspector Karanvir Singh was injured on the spot, due to which he was also injured due to bullet in the left leg of the accused. During interrogation by the accused, four cartridges along with a country-made pistol wrapped in polythene have been recovered from the place mentioned. More than 3 dozen cases are registered against the accused in Delhi NCR. Along with this, the accused is a history-sheeter of police station Loni and is also a crook of 50 thousand prize money.
