Air quality ‘poor’ in Delhi for third day, no improvement expected

New Delhi. The air quality in the national capital Delhi remained in the ‘poor’ category for the third consecutive day on Tuesday. According to him, there is no sign of improvement in this for the next six days. According to agencies, the minimum temperature was recorded at 17.5 degrees Celsius on Tuesday morning, while the air quality remained in the ‘poor’ category.

AQI between zero and 50 is considered ‘good’, 51 to 100 ‘satisfactory’, 101 to 200 ‘moderate’, 201 to 300 ‘poor’, 301 to 400 ‘very poor’ And an AQI between 401 and 500 is considered ‘severe’.

According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) data, the humidity level in the city stood at 85 per cent at 8.30 am. On Monday also the minimum temperature was recorded at 17.5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature was recorded a notch above normal at 32.5 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists have forecast a generally clear sky during the day with the maximum temperature hovering around 32 degrees Celsius. (Language)
