UIDAI has told by tweeting that with the help of only 2 documents, you can get the Aadhaar of children made. For this, you can do this work with the help of any one of these documents like the child’s birth certificate or hospital discharge slip or school ID card. Apart from this, the Aadhaar of one of the parents will be required.

Biometric is not taken
Let us tell you that the biometric is not updated in the Aadhaar of the children. The biometrics of young children keep changing till the age of five years. But as soon as the child is more than five years of age, you can update the biometric of your children in the Aadhar card.

Children get Baal Aadhaar
Children below the age of 5 years are given a blue colored Aadhaar, which is called Bal Aadhaar and when the child becomes more than 5 years of age and he/she gets the biometric updated, he/she gets a new Aadhaar.
