Mid-entry facility for admission in DU

New Delhi. The University of Delhi (DU) has taken several steps ranging from ‘mid-entry, on-the-spot admission,’ webinars to launching helpline services to ensure hassle-free admission process in undergraduate courses in the academic year 2022-23.

DU Dean (Admissions) Hanit Gandhi said that the university is ensuring that all the queries of the students are resolved promptly and they do not face any hurdle. Delhi University had started the admission process for about 70 thousand seats this month. This year the university is admitting students on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CUET) marks instead of 12th marks.

On September 12, the university released its admission-cum-allocation policy i.e. Common Seat Allotment System (CSAS). Admission through CSAS will be conducted in three phases. This includes application form submission, course selection and preferences filling, seat allotment and admission.

The admissions for the first phase started on September 12, while the second phase started on Monday. Both the phases will remain open till October 10. Meanwhile, DU will notify the date of declaration of the first list of admissions. This year, admissions have started for 79 undergraduate courses in 67 colleges, departments and centres, including B.A. The program also includes 206 combinations for the curriculum.
