Congress formed PAC for Jharkhand, appointed many senior officials

New Delhi. The Congress on Saturday constituted a 26-member Political Affairs Committee (PAC) for its Jharkhand unit and appointed several senior functionaries including 11 vice-presidents.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge approved the appointment of 11 vice-presidents, 35 general secretaries and 82 secretaries to the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee, according to a release issued by the party’s organization general secretary KC Venugopal. The Congress has also constituted a working committee for the Jharkhand unit, which includes Legislature Party leader Alamgir Alam, state cabinet minister Rameshwar Oraon, former chief minister Madhu Koda, Sukhdev Bhagat Ajay Kumar and several other leaders.

Congress general secretary and state in-charge Avinash Pandey, state president Rajesh Thakur, former chief minister Madhu Koda, cabinet ministers Alamgir Alam, Oraon and many other leaders are included in the PAC constituted for the Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee. The Congress has appointed DN Champia, KN Jha, Kalicharan Munda, Ajay Dubey, Anwar Ansari and several other leaders as vice-presidents of the state unit.
