People killed in Walmart shooting will be remembered, candlelight rally will be taken out tribute

Chesapeake (USA). A candlelight vigil will be held in Chesapeake, Virginia, to pay tribute to the victims of last week’s Walmart store shooting in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Police said a store worker opened fire on his co-workers late Tuesday in Chesapeake, a town of about 250,000 people near Virginia’s Atlantic coast.

Six employees were killed and six people were injured in the incident. Police said the Walmart employee who fired the shots had left a letter claiming he was harassed.

The suspect also died on the spot after being shot during the incident. The Walmart workers killed in the incident ranged in age from 16 to 70. A memorial service will be held at Chesapeake City Park beginning at 6 p.m.
