National Herald: ED summons 5 Congress leaders, when Rahul-Sonia were directors, they gave donation!
According to ED sources, when Rahul and Sonia Gandhi were the directors of Young India Private Limited, then these leaders had given donations in it. ED has issued summons to the leaders to know the details of the same case.

National Herald Case In Telangana Congress the five leaders of Enforcement Directorate has sent summons. The ED has arrested these five leaders in Delhi on Tuesday. Ed Headquarters has been called for questioning. According to ED sources, when Rahul and Sonia Gandhi were the directors of Young India Private Limited, these leaders had given donations in it. The ED has issued summons to the leaders to know the details of the same case. These five leaders include Mohammad Ali Shabbir, Geeta Reddy, Sudarshan Reddy, Anjan Kumar and Gali Anil.
Earlier, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested Congress’ Karnataka unit president D.K. Shivakumar was also summoned for questioning in connection with the probe into an alleged money laundering case involving the party-owned National Herald newspaper. Giving information, official sources had said that Shivakumar has been asked to appear before the Federal Investigation Agency in Delhi on October 7. This summons came at a time when the Bharat Jodo Yatra, led by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, entered Karnataka on 30 September and will run for 21 days in the state. Shivakumar is involved in the conduct of this phase of the yatra.
Young Indian’s office was sealed
At the same time, the Enforcement Directorate had earlier also summoned Mohammad Ali Shabbir, Geeta Reddy, Sudarshan Reddy Teko for questioning. Let us tell you, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) is continuously questioning top Congress leaders in connection with the investigation of alleged money laundering in the National Herald case. There was also a demonstration by the Congress in protest against the questioning.
In the case related to the National Herald newspaper, the ED team had sealed the office of Young Indian some time back. Along with this, it was also instructed by the agency that the premises should not be opened without permission. Initial reports said that the Young Indian’s office was temporarily sealed for collecting a lot of evidence in the raid that took place on August 2. However, other offices of the National Herald will remain open.
