Afghanistan star opener Rahmanullah Gurbaz picked one between cover drives of Babar Azam and Virat Kohli. The Afghanistani batter was asked to pick one among two options in several aspects of cricket and his other preferences. the biggest question of them was to pick one among the cover drives of Kohli and Babar. Gurbaz had a tough time picking one of those two and eventually made a choice.

Gurbaz was asked to pick one among two in several other aspects as well. He was asked to pick one among T10 and T20 cricket. He picked T20 cricket as his choice. Gurbaz was further asked to pick one of Afghanistan’s wins in the ODI World Cup 2023 against England and Pakistan. Gurbaz picked the win against Pakistan over that of England in the tournament.

MS Dhoni or Rinku Singh?

The wicketkeeper-batter was also asked to pick one among former legendary India captain MS Dhoni and youngster Rinku Singh as the best finisher. Gurbaz did not even hesitate to pick Dhoni. He was also asked about several other topics like his favourite food, movies, and so on. Gurbaz answered them without much difficulty. The performance of the youngster impressed everyone in the ODI World Cup 2023.

In the tournament, Afghanistan had a couple of big wins. For the first time in their history, Afghanistan beat the likes of England and Pakistan in the ODI World Cup. In both the matches, Gurbaz played a key role. In the Powerplay overs, Gurbaz took the attack on the opposition and helped his side to get the early advantage by scoring fifties. The performances of Gurbaz impressed the fans of Afghanistan.
