Mumbai In Maharashtra, the Shiv Sena faction led by Uddhav Thackeray has filed a petition in the Bombay High Court seeking permission to hold a Dussehra rally at Shivaji Park.
The party, filed by Shiv Sena secretary Anil Desai, said the party’s Mumbai civic body has not yet taken a decision on its applications for permission for the rally. The petition has sought a direction to the BMC to grant immediate permission. Justice R.D. A division bench headed by Dhanuka listed it for hearing on Thursday. (Language)
