Two more shooters arrested in Dera follower murder case
Chandigarh. Two more suspected shooters have been arrested in connection with the death of a Dera Sacha Sauda follower. Punjab Police gave this information on Thursday. Police said that another person has also been arrested for providing logistics to the three shooters from Haryana.
Pradeep Singh Kataria, a follower of Sirsa-based Dera Sacha Sauda, ​​was shot dead by six assailants on November 10 at Kotkapura in Faridkot, Punjab. He was an accused in the 2015 Bargarhi sacrilege case.
Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav tweeted that two shooters named Manpreet alias Mani and Bhupinder alias Goldy have been arrested from Hoshiarpur in connection with Pradeep’s murder. He said, Faridkot police arrested Baljit alias Manna for providing logistics to three shooters from Haryana.
The DGP said that Canadian crook Goldie Brar is the main accused in the murder of the Dera follower. Brar is also the prime accused in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala, who was shot dead in May.
