Mahesh Babu: Tollywood superstar Mahesh Babu’s mother Ghattamaneni Indira Devi passed away on Wednesday morning at the age of 70 after a prolonged illness. Indira Devi, who was undergoing treatment at a major city hospital since last week, breathed her last at her home. Ghattamaneni Indira Devi was the wife of superstar and veteran Telugu star Krishna. Indira Devi’s death is a big blow to the Ghattamaneni family, as their eldest son Ramesh Babu passed away in the same year.

Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi was among the first to mourn Mahesh Babu and Krishna. “Deeply saddened to hear about the passing of Indira Devi Garu. I extend my deepest condolences to superstar Krishna Garu, brother Mahesh Babu and family,” he tweeted in Telugu.
