After this, he threw 18.32m, 17.80m, 19.20m, 19.91m and 19.81m. His fifth throw was considered the best throw of 19.91 meters. With this, he made an Asian record in his name.

Nishad Kumar won silver

Earlier, India’s Nishad Kumar gave a second silver medal to the country by performing brilliantly in the Tokyo Paralympics 2020. He won the silver medal in high jump. Nishad Kumar, rich in brilliant talent, had reached the top 3 performing brilliantly. He competed with 2 athletes from America.

Nishad Kumar on Sunday won a silver medal with an Asian record in the men’s high jump T46 event of the Tokyo Paralympics. Kumar set an Asian record with a jump of 2.06 meters and finished second. America’s Dallas Wise was also awarded the silver medal as both he and Kumar jumped the same 2.06m.

India won three medals in Tokyo Paralympics
