The whole matter is of Haldwani Kotwali police station area. It is being told that the groom ordered 10,000 lehenga from Lucknow for the bride, but the bride did not like the lehenga and the bride refused to marry. After which there was a lot of uproar. However, when the matter reached the police station, the police sent both the parties back after an agreement.
According to the information, when the bride came to know that the groom had bought a lehenga for her only for Rs 10,000, she canceled the marriage. With great difficulty, after the intervention of the police, both the families came to an agreement and the marriage was cancelled.
It is being told that the wedding cards were also printed by the groom’s side. In this case, the police told that both the parties have reached an agreement after sitting and canceled the marriage. People from the girl side are residents of Nainital, Haldwani, while the people from the boys side are from Almora.
