Mohammed Shami 200 Wickets In Test: In the Centurion Test match, India’s fast bowler Mohammed Shami made a special record in his name. Shami has completed 200 wickets in Test cricket. He has become the 11th Indian bowler to take 200 or more wickets in International Test matches. Before Shami, Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, Zaheer Khan and Ishant Sharma have done this feat. Thanks to this performance of Shami, India were all out for 197 runs in the first innings of the South Africa Centurion Test match.
In the first match of the ongoing Test series between India and South Africa, Team India scored 327 runs in the first innings. In response, South Africa were all out for 197 runs in the first innings. During this, Mohammed Shami gave India the most 5 wickets. He took 5 wickets for 44 runs in 16 overs. It also had 5 maiden overs. With a good performance in this match, 200 wickets in Test cricket were added to Shami’s record. He has become the 11th Indian bowler to do so.
Many veteran cricketers have congratulated Shami on completing 200 wickets in Test cricket. It includes VVS Laxman, Ravi Shastri and Harbhajan Singh.

Shami has now also joined the list of bowlers who have taken 200 or more wickets in Test matches.
