Minor was returning home from the fair with a friend
According to the police, a minor and his friend were returning from a Charak fair in Adityapur under Shantiniketan police station area on Thursday night. Then 5 people stopped them and while assaulting the friend of the minor girl, the five took turns raping the girl. After this incident came to light, the police started investigating the matter. After this matter, the police officers also reached the girl’s house in the village.

girl’s treatment in hospital
West Bengal Gangrape: According to the information, the minor girl who was raped is undergoing treatment at the Bolpur Sub-Divisional Hospital. At the same time, the police has registered a case on the basis of the complaint and is engaged in making sketches of the accused on the basis of their description.

Police suspects the accused were from outside Birbhum
In the preliminary investigation, the police have found that the five accused, who raped the minor, were from outside Birbhum district and were to visit a fair in the village. During this, he committed this shameful incident after seeing the minor girl and her friend alone.
