Jaipur. Public Works Minister Bhajan Lal Jatav on Thursday inquired about the progress of works from the officials of the concerned branches for effective implementation of the budget announcements of the department. He directed the officers to ensure the completion of budget announcements in due time and personally monitor the progress and quality of works by visiting the field.
Shri Jatav said that the officers should do regular quality checks for the quality of road, bridge, ROB etc. construction work in the state. He said that after getting the tender and acceptance of the roads included in the budget announcements, fix the time limit for starting the work. Apart from this, if NOC is pending from the Forest Department for any construction work, then start the work by resolving it soon. He also directed to do patch work of roads on priority.
On this occasion, the Principal Secretary, Public Works Department, Shri Vaibhav Galaria said that along with the sanctioned works under the budget announcements of the year 2022-2023, the works of missing links and non-patchable roads should also be completed on time. He emphasized on completing the various works going on in the department with stipulated time and quality.
Secretary Chinn Hari Meena, Chief Engineer and Additional Secretary Public Works Department Shri Sanjeev Mathur, Chief Engineer (NH) Shri DR Meghwal and other high officials were also present in the meeting.
