Mushtaq Khan arrested for hoisting Pakistani flag at home

Raigarh. In Chhattisgarh’s Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, the police have arrested a fruit vendor for hoisting the Pakistani flag. Police officials gave this information on Thursday. He said that fruit vendor Mushtaq Khan (52) has been arrested for hoisting the Pakistani flag in Saria police station area of ​​the district.

According to officials, the police had received a complaint on Tuesday evening that Khan had hoisted the Pakistani flag at his house in Atal Chowk. He said that the police, who reached Khan’s house after the complaint, took off the flag and confiscated it. According to officials, a case of disturbing social harmony has been registered against Khan under section 153(a) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). He has been arrested and investigation has been started in the case.

Meanwhile, local workers of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) staged a protest outside the Saria police station after the incident, demanding registration of a sedition case against Khan.
