Maneka Gandhi gave this statement on being removed from the National Executive of BJP

“I am satisfied to be in the BJP for 20 years. Not being in the executive does not reduce one’s stature. My first religion is to serve. It is more important that I get a place in the hearts of people.

Let us tell you that recently BJP had released the list of National Executive. Maneka Gandhi and her son Varun Gandhi were not named in this list.

Maneka Gandhi is the MP from Sultanpur and Varun Gandhi is the MP from Pilibhit. Maneka Gandhi became a Union minister for the first time in the Modi cabinet, but when she won the election from Sultanpur for the second time, she did not get a ministerial post.

Let us tell you that Maneka Gandhi’s statements are often in controversies. Earlier, on not being named in the national executive, he had said that this is not a big thing and neither does it matter. I have been in the executive for 25 years, if there is any change in it, it is not a big deal.
