However, no reason has been given for the mass resignation yet. In such a situation, the difficulties of Sri Lankan Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa have increased.

However, Rajapaksa will continue to be the PM. Giving information about the resignation of the cabinet, the country’s Education Minister and Leader of the House Dinesh Gunawardene said that apart from President Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa, all 26 ministers submitted their resignations to the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka was the first to resign from all his portfolios of the country’s Sports Minister and PM Rajapaksa’s son Namal Rajapaksa. About an hour later, other ministers tendered their resignations. Information is also coming out that a new cabinet will be formed in the coming days.
