Jammu. Chief Secretary AK Mehta held a meeting here on Sunday to review the arrangements for granting permission under the single window system for setting up industries in Jammu and Kashmir.

Officials gave this information. He informed that many new industrial areas are being set up in the Union Territory. Officials said hundreds of applications have been received for setting up various industrial units.
The official said that various industrial units in the districts of Samba, Kathua, Kulgam, Pulwama etc. are at different stages of development. In the meeting, Mehta said that it is imperative to adopt such a single platform where all the services can be made available to the applicants. He also asked to stop using different portals of different service providers.
