Hasan Ali Slides And Plays On Water-Filled Covers After Rain – WATCH
PAKISTAN pacer Hasan Ali was seen enjoying the rain showers which stopped the proceeding of Day 2 of the second Test between Dimuth Karunaratne-led Sri Lanka and Babar Azam’s Pakistan at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo, on Tuesday.
Hasan Ali made the most out of this situation as the pacer was running around the ground like a child. He lifted the covers lay under it and even took some slides on the water-filled covers.
The video of this incident is going viral on the internet. Fans were disappointed after the match was stopped due to the rain but Ali’s play on the wet covers made everyone’s mood a little better.
Only 10 overs of play was possible on day 2 before rain put a stop to it. Hopefully, fans will be able to witness around 30 or more overs of the game today after the rain stops. PAK is currently on 178 for 2 and has gained a lead of 12 runs, while Abdullah Shafique is batting on 87 runs not out and is accompanied by the skipper Babar Azam, who is on 28.
Pakistan On Top Of WTC Points Table
Pakistan sit alone at the top of the ICC World Test Championship standings after fellow pacesetter India were held to a draw in the second Test against the West Indies in Trinidad.
The entire final day on Monday was washed out in the Caribbean, meaning India had to settle for a share of the spoils in the final Test of their series against the West Indies which saw them relinquish their 100 percent win-loss record in the new World Test Championship campaign.
Now, Pakistan are the only team with an unblemished record during the new cycle following their four-wicket victory over Sri Lanka in Galle.
